Head quartered in Coimbatore city, COODU has been serving the people in (13) thirteen districts in the state and also carried out verification of clean villages in the states of Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh for the award of Nirmal Gram Purashkar to village Panchayats.
Under CAPART supported Grameen Vikas Andolan, COODU had disseminated information on all Rural Development programmes among people from rural areas in Coimbatore district.
Under SGRY, COODU had executed infrastructure development and maintenance works by engaging the landless and agricultural labourers as entrusted by the DRDA, Coimbatore.
With the support of NABARD, COODU had organised a meeting and sensitised farmers, agricultural labourers, women SHG members and the general public on the need to conserve water both for irrigation and drinking in Dhayanur of Kalampalayam panchayat on 21-06-2017.
